to Open Door
We hope that we will
become one of your favorite LGBT nonprofits
(if we're not already!). The Open
Door Fund is different from other
LGBT nonprofits in Boulder County
in several, complementary ways:
~ Open Door's
purpose is solely to raise money
for LGBT nonprofits;
~ Open Door gives grants
to many nonprofits (average 10-12
per year) for many different programs
(see this year's grant
recipient awards);
~ Open Door also raises money
for the future needs of the LGBT community,
saving this money as endowment
to provide a permanent source of grant
funds;
~ Open Door is a fund of The
Community Foundation, which subsidizes
our administrative costs. That means
that 100% of your donation goes
to LGBT programs. Our committee
members are an all-volunteer group,
and thank you for your support.
Ways to Give
Our parent organization,
The Community Foundation Serving Boulder
County, is a §501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, and gifts are fully
tax deductible as allowed by law.
Check - Please
make your check out to "The Community
Foundation Serving Boulder County"
with the designation "Open Door"
on the Memo line. Mail it to The Community
Foundation, 1123 Spruce St., Boulder
CO 80302.

future needs of the LGBT community
in Boulder County. We are "The
Open Door Fund of The Community Foundation
Serving Boulder County."
Donate Online
A
nonprofit called Network for Good
will process online donations
for The Open Door Fund of The
Community Foundation for a fee
of 4.75%.
There are two options:
1) Donors can pay the 4.75% fee
in addition to their actual donation.
For example with absorption:
$100 gift ($100.00 to
The Open Door
Fund of The Community Foundation;
$4.75 to Network for Good) Donor
cost $104.75
2) Donors can pay the amount they
wish to donate and the fee of
4.75% will be deducted before
the contribution is distributed
to The Open Door fund of The Community
Foundation.
For example without absorption:
$100 gift ($95.25 to The
Open Door Fund of The Community
Foundation; $4.75 to
Network for Good) Donor
cost $100.00.
Your donation is fully tax deductible. |
