Thursday, November 6, 2003, the sensational 8th annual Monsoon dinner and auction will be held to benefit the GLBT communities of Boulder County and their allies. The featured speaker will be Holly Hughes. Hughes is an acclaimed lesbian feminist performance artist, Obie award-winning playwright and one of the "NEA Four" having the distinct honor of being referred to by Jesse Helms as "a garbage artist".

Cash bar and silent auction at 5:30, dinner at 7.

All proceeds will go to The Open Door Fund of The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County, the county’s largest funder of organizations that serve the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
