Grants 2003  
The Open Door Fund makes grants totaling $21,350 in 2003 to the following organizations:

Aging Services Foundation of Boulder Bounty, to build community among older GLBT people and to bring awareness of this population to the broader community. This grant supports the annual Winter Lavender Gala and the reprinting of the Silver Lining resource directory.

Bent Lens Cinema, to support programming throughout the year that brings new and classic GLBT films to our community. $2,750
Boulder County Dance Club, to support a regular, safe and friendly place for GLBT people to learn to dance, practice dancing and socialize in a smoke-free, alcohol-free setting.

Boulder County Gender Support Group, to support a safe location to meet, educational resources,and psychological counseling for the transgender community.
$1,800
Boulder PRIDE, to support Open and Affirming Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Support (OASOS), which offers weekly peer-based support groups, events and activities, and safe referrals to counselors and care providers.

Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition, to support a training session for athletic directors and coaches that will promote a safe and open environment for GLBT students and athletes.

Longmont Coalition for Women in Crisis, to fund outreach efforts that broaden awareness of domestic violence and services available to the GLBT community.

Mental Health Center of Boulder County, to support a series of eight-week educational and therapeutic groups targeting GLBT individuals and couples who have no or limited access to mental health services.
$2,000
PFLAG-Boulder, to support a series of talks about GLBT issues in the schools by Dr. Robert Minor, Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Kansas.

United Ministries in Higher Education, to provide programming and counseling for GLBT students on the CU-Boulder campus.
