Grants 2002  
The Open Door Fund makes grants totaling $25,200 in 2002 to the following organizations:

Aging Services Foundation, to build community among the older GLBT people and to bring awareness of this population.
$2,500
Boulder County Dance Club, to support a regular, safe and friendly place for GLBT people to learn to dance, practice dancing and socializein a smoke-free, alcohol-free setting.
$1,500
Boulder County Gender Support Group, to support a safe location to meet, educational resources, psychological counseling and social services to the transgender community.
$2,000
Boulder Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, to help cover costs associated with presenting the fifth annual gay film festival.
$2,000
Boulder Gay Info Line, to provide a phone-line message that provides updated information about GLBT events in Boulder County.

Boulder PFLAG, to rent and promote a photo and text exhibit Out and elected in the U.S.A. to be shown at locations around Boulder County Oct. 17-Nov. 6.

Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition, To complete publication of Everyone Counts: An Elementary Resource Guide about GLBT Issues for Principals and Teachers, a handbook for elementary principals and teachers.

First Congregational Church (Boulder), to support a weekend of free programs entitled Gay in the Mainstream Faith: A Community Dialog, which will include panels, concerts, films and lectures

Longmont Coalition for Women in Crisis, to revise and distribute brochure addressing violence in lesbian and female bisexual relationships

Open and Affirming Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Support Program (OASOS) (Boulder County), to partner with the Boulder County Health Dept. to provide services to questioning, transgendered, bisexual, lesbian and gay youth.

Sound Circle (Boulder County), general operating support for upcoming season for this largely lesbian a cappella group..

Teens, Inc.(Nederland) ,to stage 6th annual Sex!Life! performance and other performances related to the issues surrounding sexuality and diversity.

United Ministries in Higher Education (Boulder), to provide programming and counseling for GLBT students on the CU-Boulder campus.
