About The Open Door Fund

The Open Door Fund was created as a permanent endowment by The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County in 1996:

To address problems and needs of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) persons in Boulder County;

To build LGBT community;

To foster collaboration and promote constructive dialogue between gay and non-gay people; and

To provide a permanent source of support for organizations serving the LGBT community.
